ADMISSION FOR CLASS-VII
The prestigious English Medium Residential Institution of Balochistan, Cadet College Jaffarabad announces the admission in class-VII every year in November through advertisement in national newspaper.
Eligibility: The candidates must have passed at-least Class 6th examination from a recognized school, must not be under 11 and over 13 years of age till 1st Mar for the entry year and must be medically fit.
Selection: Admissions are granted strictly on the basis of merit, which will be determined through a written examination and followed by an interview. The written test will be conducted from the Balochistan Textbook Board syllabus of Class 6th standard, comprising General Science, English, Urdu and Mathematics. Weightage of written test is 40% MCQs and 60% subjective. Written examination (English & Urdu medium) will be conducted through Balochistan Academy for College Teachers (BACT). (www.bact.edu.pk)
Intimation of Written Test: The date, time, and location of the written test will be intimated by BACT through roll number slips, which can be downloaded from the BACT website (www.bact.edu.pk).
Interview: Interview of shortlisted candidates (as per merit of written test) will be conducted at Cadet College Jaffarabad by a panel headed by Commandant Cadet College Jaffarabad. Appearing in interview on specific date and time is mandatory for all successful candidates. Any candidate not reporting for interview on due date will not be entertained afterwards on any pretext.

Balochistan (District Wise) – 65, Employees Son Quota – 02, Minorities – 02, Other Provinces (KPK – 1, Punjab – 1, Sindh – 1, Gilgit – 1 and AJK – 1), Open Merit – 08, Self Finance – 10.
7. Admission Form / Prospectus:
The admission form/prospectus of the college can be obtained on payment of Rs. 3,000/- (non-refundable) from MCB Usta Muhammad, MCB Dera Murad Jamali, and Cadet College Jaffarabad to be deposited in MCB Bank Challan / Bank Draft / Online in favor of the Principal, Cadet College Jaffarabad.
