At Cadet College Jaffarabad, welcoming new cadets is an important tradition. Each year, the college admits new cadets into Class 7 after a process of tests, interviews, and issuance of offer letters. Once selected, the cadets are received by the college, with all necessary arrangements carefully managed by the college administration, faculty, and supporting units to ensure a smooth transition.
The junior cadets are provided a relaxed and supportive environment during a 2–3 week special orientation program, helping them adjust to the new surroundings and college life. They are accommodated in the Junior Hostel, where House Masters and Assistant House Masters guide and mentor them, ensuring a confident and comfortable start to their journey at CCJ.
